Falconer Woman Sentenced to Prison for Kennedy Arson
(WNY News Now) – Kennedy, NY – Chautauqua County District Attorney Jason Schmidt announced today that Aubrey Baize, 30, of Falconer, was sentenced in Chautauqua County Court by Judge David W. Foley to an indeterminate state prison term of 4 to 12 years. Baize was convicted by a Chautauqua County jury on April 25, 2024, of Arson in the Third Degree, a class C felony.

(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A routine traffic stop in Jamestown uncovers over seven grams of crack cocaine, leading to a significant drug arrest. On the evening of July 13, 2024, at approximately 8:43 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon conducted a traffic stop near Barrett Avenue and the Barrett Avenue Ramp for observed traffic infractions. The driver, identified as 55-year-old Denise L. Pattyson, was pulled over and subsequently investigated by the officers.
Jamestown Man Arrested on Narcotics Charges After Attempting to Conceal Fentanyl in City Jail
(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A Jamestown man faces multiple charges after attempting to conceal fentanyl upon his arrest, further complicating his legal troubles. On the evening of July 5, 2024, officers from the Jamestown Police Department apprehended Dale R. Linkous, a 26-year-old resident of Jamestown, on the city’s West side. The officers, aware of Linkous’ active arrest paperwork from a prior incident, took him into custody at approximately 8:55 PM and transported him to the city jail.
Woman Charged with Possessing Crack Cocaine in Jamestown Traffic Stop
A traffic stop Saturday evening in Jamestown led to the arrest of a woman on a felony drug charge. Jamestown Police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Barrett Avenue and the Barrett Avenue ramp for infractions at about 8:45 PM. Officers were given consent to search the vehicle driven by 55-year-old Denise Pattyson. Inside the vehicle, officers found 7.3 grams of crack cocaine. Pattyson was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail to be held pending arraignment for 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was also issued traffic tickets.

(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A 22-year-old Jamestown woman faces multiple charges after violating protection orders during a domestic dispute in Westside Park. On the evening of July 12, 2024, at approximately 7:59 PM, officers from the second platoon responded to Westside Park in Jamestown following a report of a physical domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers located Abigail L. Osborne-Thompson, 22, a short distance away from the reported scene.
Jamestown Resident Arrested for DWI and Assault After Striking Two Individuals with Vehicle
(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown woman faces serious charges after allegedly striking two people with her car outside a local bar early Saturday morning. On July 13, 2024, at approximately 1:15 A.M., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd platoon responded to a report of a fight at The Wine Cellar, located at 309 N. Main St. Upon arrival, officers discovered a chaotic scene in the parking lot.
