FALL RIVER — The Herald News kicks off Spring All-Scholastics with boys volleyball all-stars. Durfee was the lone team in the Greater Fall River area. The Hilltoppers enjoyed a great season in 2024, finishing with a 14-8 record. Durfee punched its ticket to the postseason and even won a Division I preliminary matchup with Everett.
Newport City Council funds more of Rogers High School with strings attached, causing concern
NEWPORT – In a move that divided the City Council, the city has agreed to give an additional $3 million toward the Rogers High School building project.
