FALL RIVER — The Herald News continues Spring All-Scholastics with boys tennis all-stars.
The boys tennis teams from Fall River area schools — Case, Diman, Durfee, Somerset Berkley and Westport — performed at their best this spring.
No one did it better than Raiders sophomore Max Petit this spring, which was why he was named the Herald New s Boys Tennis Player of the Year.
The Herald News is pleased to announce the 2024 Spring All-Scholastics Boys Tennis all-stars from Greater Fall River:
Player of the Year
Max Petit, Somerset Berkley
Petit was an unstoppable force for the Raiders this past spring. The sophomore singles player was undefeated in regular season matches with an 18-0 record. He was 36-0 in sets along with being 15-0 at third singles and 3-0 at second singles. Petit was named a South Coast Conference all-star. In two seasons, he is 34-3 in dual matches, including tournament play with a 21-2 mark. Petit is a two-time Herald News All-Scholastics.
