FALL RIVER, Mass. (WWLP) – A woman has died and a man has been injured after being hit by a box truck that was picking up donated furniture in Fall River on Wednesday.

CT driver arrested after leading police on chase through Massachusetts

According to NBC Boston, six members of a nonprofit called My Brother’s Keeper, which deals with furniture donations, went to a home on Joseph Drive. The employees and volunteers were picking up a dresser when 67-year-old Jean Revil from Dartmouth and a 64-year-old man from Bristol had the box truck back into them.

The man was in critical but stable condition at New Bedford’s Saint Luke’s Hospital as of Thursday morning, but Revil died in the accident.

State and local police are investigating and it is unknown if anyone is facing charges.
