Arrest Made in Shooting Death of Bayonne Teen
BAYONNE, NJ - A Jersey City teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of a Bayonne teen. According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Bayonne Police Department and the Bayonne Fire Department were notified of an unresponsive male inside an apartment at 124 West Third Street. The Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined the Cause of Death to be a Gunshot Wound to the Torso and the Manner to be Homicide. The suspect, also 17, was arrested and charged as a juvenile with Manslaughter, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
