Groundbreaking Ceremony at Hector International Airport Today
Local and state leaders will be at Hector International Airport at 10 this morning for a groundbreaking ceremony. Gov. Doug Burgum and Sen. John Hoeven will be on hand as the terminal expansion and parking garage project begins. The nearly $200 million project includes expanding the current terminal to nine gates, an apron expansion and a new parking garage with an elevated walkway.

Roundabout at 52nd Avenue and Sheyenne Street closed
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The 52nd Avenue South/Sheyenne Street Roundabout is now closed as part of an ongoing reconstruction project on 52nd Avenue. The North Dakota Department of Transportation and City of Fargo contractors started underground utility and roadway construction portions of Phase 2 of the project on July 1. Work on Phase 2 is anticipated to conclude on August 15.

Zundel, Jorgensen sworn in as West Fargo City Commissioners
(WEST FARGO) — Amy Zundel and Rory Jorgensen were sworn in as West Fargo City Commissioners on Monday, July 1, 2024. West Fargo Mayor, Bernie Dardis administered the Oath of Office to Zundel and Jorgensen. Both were elected to serve a 4-year term from July 2024 – July 2028.
West Fargo Fire Department reminds people to practice firework safety
WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The West Fargo Fire Department is ensuring the community stays safe on the Fourth of July by reminding residents of fireworks safety. According to City ordinances, those who are 12 years and older may use fireworks within the city limits of West Fargo beginning at 8 a.m. on July 4, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on July 4. Fireworks may also be used on December 31, starting at 8 p.m., ending on January 1 at 1 a.m. Fireworks are prohibited at all other times of the year.
