    What was up with the 'sewage spill' signs during the recent flooding in Faribault?

    During the recent flood, a number of orange signs warning of raw sewage being spilled popped up around the city, leaving at least some residents confused about the situation under their feet.

    The Faribault Mill spent the latter part of June with water being pumped out of the basement and into the flooded Cannon River Reservoir. Pumps are allowed to be drained into the storm sewers or let out into the groundwater. (Colton Kemp/southernminn.com)
