Ryan and Jess Mead, a husband-and-wife duo, have grown their business from furniture making to a multi-state retail operation. The Meads began crafting furniture in 2017 from a Kansas City, Missouri warehouse, shipping pieces nationwide and around the world. In 2019 they opened Tyler Kingston Mercantile in Kansas City, transitioning from furniture production to retail as the physical demands of woodworking took their toll.
