Man securing load of tree branches in his pickup struck, killed on north Texas roadway
HOWE, Texas — A man securing a load of tree branches in his pickup truck was struck and killed early Tuesday morning in Howe, according to local authorities. Shortly after 5:00 a.m. on July 2, Howe emergency medical services (EMS), Van Alstyne Fire personnel, and Howe police responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 200 block of West Haning Street in downtown Howe. Upon arrival, they discovered 55-year-old Dean Lynn Grauman of Trenton lying unresponsive in the roadway. Despite lifesaving efforts, Grauman was pronounced dead at the scene.
