Virginia, IL – Woman Dies in Head-on Collision on IL 125 at Shiloh Rd
Virginia, IL (July 24, 2024) – A 72-year-old woman from Western Illinois was killed on Monday in a crash near the Cass County town of Virginia. The crash happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Illinois Route 125, just west of Shiloh Road. Officials with the Illinois State Police said a pickup truck was driving west on Illinois Route 125 when it crossed the center line and continued driving in the eastbound lane. The truck hit an eastbound sedan head-on.
