Mumford Company represented John Skidmore Development Inc. in the sale of the Days Inn & Suites Sutton Flatwoods and KOA Campground in Sutton, WV. The Skidmore family, who developed and operated these facilities more than 34 years and two generations, wanted to retire from active operations. The purchasers, who were experienced hotel operators from Texas and Northern Virginia, have plans to make cosmetic renovations to the hotel and continue the Days Inn affiliation.
WVU Cancer Institute to open outpatient clinic for geriatric cancer patients
MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) - The WVU Cancer Institute is opening a new outpatient clinic for geriatric cancer patients. When a patient is diagnosed with cancer, the primary focus of medical care becomes the cancer itself with other conditions taking the back seat, officials said. However, older adults can have chronic medical problems and other physical, cognitive and social needs that cannot be overlooked.
