At approximately 2:30 AM, deputies responded to a disturbance involving shots fired at the Cannelton Mobile Home Park.

Upon arrival, they found the couple on their porch with an empty holster visible on the banister.

The male, Zachariah Roat, admitted to firing a single shot into the woods following an argument with a neighbor.

While retrieving the firearm inside the home, deputies observed digital scales, plastic bags, and marijuana remnants in the bedroom.

They then sought consent to search the residence, but upon returning inside, the paraphernalia had disappeared.

A juvenile in the home revealed that his father had instructed him via text to hide the items. The subsequent search uncovered a substantial quantity of marijuana, packaging materials, and a large amount of U.S. currency.
