Sully Says: I'm betting on Sam
I have been known to place a bet or two- or three. I can't pass up on the Hogs' projected win total of only four and a half games. I can't see any way that this team isn't better than last year's 4-8 squad. My reason for optimism starts at...
Arkansas Football's all-time record vs. every 2024 opponent
With SEC Media Days behind us, Arkansas football fans are truly gearing up for the 2024 season. Of course, all the focus will be on head coach Sam Pittman who is on the hot seat. Unfortunately, it won't be easy for the fifth-year head coach to rebound from last year's...
The new College Football Playoff is here, and it has the whole SEC gunning for a spot
DALLAS — It could be a challenging season for Arkansas coach Sam Pittman, who sat down at SEC media days on Thursday and acknowledged the seat underneath him felt a tad warmer than it usually does. Three years ago, the Razorbacks went 9-4. But college football has since experienced...
Arkansas picked to finish 14th at SEC Media Days, awarded one All-SEC selection
The results of the preseason SEC Media Days polls have been released. Every year, the media puts out a predicted order of finish, predicted SEC Champion, and All-SEC Team selections. This year, their opinions of the Razorbacks were clear as crystal. Arkansas was picked to finish 14th in the SEC, preceding only Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
Hogs need more All-SEC additions for success in 2024
FAYETTEVILLE — Following the SEC Media Days Arkansas only placed one player on the All-SEC teams announced Friday. Defensive end Landon Jackson was the lone Razorback named as he was put on the second-team defensive line. Arkansas has to have more players shine in 2024 than just one and need to have many more on the All-SEC teams announced following the year.
Arkansas football hopes position switch ignites Patrick Kutas and the entire offensive line
Arkansas football will enter the 2024 season with low expectations. The USA TODAY Sports Network recently predicted the Razorbacks to finish 14th in the 16-team SEC. However, if there is a reason for hope entering the fall, it surprisingly comes along the offensive line. Surely, Arkansas can't get any worse up front after ranking 109th in the country in yards per carry and 129th out of 133 teams in sacks allowed per game last season.
Arkansas leads the NCAA with 20 track and field athletes going to the Olympics
It's well known that Arkansas has an elite track and field program, but now there's no doubt the Razorbacks are the king. According to the NCAA, Arkansas has the highest number of track and field athletes in the NCAA going to the Olympics. The Hogs have 20 athletes traveling to Paris, competing for seven countries. They are one of only five universities with double-digit track and field Olympians. The next highest university is Florida, with 17, followed by USC (14), LSU (11), and Texas (10).
