There's nothing like a delicious slice of pizza. Here are seven of the best pie spots in Northwest Arkansas.
Steeped in mostly 1980s and '90s pop culture, Flashback is decked out from floor to ceiling in movie posters, album covers and cutouts of familiar faces — from Michael Jordan to Bob Ross. There's even an old-school arcade.
Try this: The Blondie with garlic oil, mozzarella, mushrooms, caramelized onion, parmesan and a truffle aioli swirl — and you have to add the prosciutto.

A Chicago-style pizzeria, Gusano's offers some of the best deep-dish 'za we've tried south of the Windy City, but its traditional-crust pizzas are simple, delicious and a lot faster when you're hungry.
Try this: Plain ol' pepperoni for carryout or a Grub's Choice (pepperoni, Italian sausage, onions, mushrooms) for deep dish.
Stop by: Locations in Bentonville , Bella Vista , Fayetteville , Rogers and Springdale .
Mojo's has a sports and live music bar vibe — loud and boozy. And the pizza's good, too.
Try this: That Good Green is topped with pesto, portabella mushrooms, tomatoes, artichoke hearts and, of course, fresh mozzarella.
Stop by: 2630 E. Citizens Dr. or 1200 Garland Ave. in Fayetteville.
This winning combo includes a wood-fired oven, the convenient central-Bentonville location and a modern dining room where you can see and be seen.
Try this: The Margherita is simple, fresh and light.
Stop by: 215 S. Main St., #3, Bentonville .
A sorta NY-style pizza with an elevated flair — every bite here is out of this world. Pizzeria Ruby instantly became the go-to classic in NWA. The only downside to this hidden gem is the wait for a table, but one can always order out and enjoy slices on the patio. Try this: For something different, the White Pie topped with Italian cheeses, fontina, whipped ricotta, onion jam, garlic and toasted sesame.

Technically a food trailer, Wicked Wood shares dining space with Fossil Cove Brewing Company and is a favorite hangout for cyclists after an evening ride.
Try this: The Honey Pig is made with marinara, mozzarella, thick-cut pepperoni, jalapeños and honey drizzle. Get it on Wicked's hand-tossed sourdough crust.
Stop by: 1946 N. Birch Ave., Fayetteville.

An elevated version of pizza for those who've graduated from fast fraternity food. Wood Stone locations are casual enough for shorts but good enough to impress out-of-towners.
Try T.H.I.S.S.S.: Tangy, herby, infused, spicy, salty and sweet is built out of apple marmalade, goat cheese, olive oil, prosciutto, parmesan, a balsamic reduction and arugula.
- If that's not departure enough from the ordinary, check out the Thai Curry topped with coconut curry sauce, peppers, onions, carrots, mozzarella, lime, cabbage and toasted cashews.

Worth noting: We won't pretend Eureka Pizza is a shining beacon of pie, but it's probably kept more University of Arkansas students from starvation than the other above-mentioned establishments combined.
RIP : "We used to sell pizza … to the people who ordered our pizza," Damgoode Pies founder Jeff Trine posted on the company's website. The Little Rock location closed in November and Fayetteville's in May .
- Despite the snarky — and frankly horrible — service, we'll miss the damn good pink sauce.
