    Cities extend ordinances for fireworks due to July 4th weather

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — July 4th celebrations were dampened for many residents across Northwest Arkansas.

    These cities will NOT be extending their ordinances.

    • Siloam Springs
    • Rogers
    Postponed firework shows in NWA

    The following cities have extended their fireworks ordinances:

    • The City of Centerton’s mayor has posted that residents can light fireworks until July 5 at 11 p.m.
    • Fayetteville is allowing residents to light fireworks from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 5
    • Springdale will allow people to light fireworks until 10 p.m. July 5

    These cities allow for fireworks to be on July 5:

    • Bella Vista from noon to midnight July 5
    • Gravette from noon to midnight until July 7
    • Decatur from noon to 11 p.m. July 5
    • Farmington from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 5
    • Lowell from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 6
    • Cave Springs from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. until July 6
