    NWA unwinds at Fayetteville Movement Festival

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Fayetteville Movement Festival, a weekend-long series of mobility and dance classes, is wrapping up on July 6.

    The goal of the festival is to “bring together community members making positive changes in the world of dance, yoga, therapy, art, performance art, and improvisation,” according to the Fayetteville Movement Festival’s website .

    All classes are listed as “beginner-friendly,” and include activities like urban yoga, “Sweeps and Swivels,” a hip mobility, ice baths and bird watching.

    Fayetteville continues to lead in bike-friendly businesses

    “I think a huge part of this weekend is just forgetting any worries that you have coming up, having a really big experience, not just with yourself but with others,” Kyndal Saverse, founder of the Fayetteville Movement Festival, said.

    The festival concludes tomorrow with 10 different classes going from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The classes include dance-cardio, a writing workshop and forest bathing.

    A $45 day pass can be purchased on the Fayetteville Movement Festival’s website .
