Walmart sells tiny home kits

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. ( KNWA/KFTA ) — Walmart is living up to its “save money live better” slogan and has added “tiny home” kits for its customers.

A Wyoming-based company now offers full kits on Walmart.com for people to build a tiny home. Customers can now assemble a 96-square-foot spiral staircase home for less than $30,000. or a country cottage for less than $20,000 .

The home’s steel frame has a 50-year warranty, but all non-steel materials have a 1-year warranty. They include just about all the materials you need to make it

A barnhouse can be a new place to call home at a reduced cost in today’s economy costing anywhere between $4,000 to $21,000 . The higher-end barns are not your average hay-holding buildings, they offer two stories of living space and are advertised as a “virtually unlimited storage space and use” such as “use as a workshop, office space, camping spot, outdoor getaway, adds another space for a kids play area or anything else you can dream up.”

Besides tiny homes, customers can find blueprints for their future homes costing anywhere from $90 to $1,000. Blueprints range from The House Designers :

• A 989 square foot, 1 bedroom, 1 bath Cabin plan
• A 1614 square foot, 3 bedroom, 3 bath 2 Story plan
• A 994 square foot home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath
• A 2,234 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 2.1 baths
• A 904 square foot home with 1 bedroom and 1.5 bath
• A 506 square foot home or garage with 1 bedroom and 1 bath
