Humane Society hosts pet adoption event at Petco
The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas and the national nonprofit Petco Love will host the Adopt a Petco event at Petco in Mountain Home Saturday morning from 10 to 2. The event will include pets available for adoption. Carolyn Carter, shelter manager at the Humane Society, says “The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas is committed to finding loving homes for the pets in our care. Come out and find your new best friend. When you adopt a new best friend, they come current on vaccinations, treated for parasites, spayed and neutered and receive blood work for various diseases. Adopting a shelter pet saves two lives, the one you are adopting and the next waiting to come to the shelter.”
