FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A man has been charged with felony indecent exposure involving a teen boy after an incident at a restaurant the suspect worked at in June, police said.

Police said that Kalon Sanchez Frank, 27, of Fayetteville was charged with indecent exposure to a person less than 16 and secret peeping after his arrest last week.

According to an arrest warrant, the incident happened around 1 p.m. on June at Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant at 1490 Skibo Road.

The warrant said the victim — a 16-year-old boy — was having lunch with his mother.

The warrant said the suspect while in a restroom exposed his private parts to the teen boy for “the purpose of arousing and gratifying the defendant’s sexual desire.”

The incident took place in the men’s restroom of the restaurant, the warrant said. The suspect, a manager at the restaurant, went into the bathroom one minute before the boy and then began peeking at the teen “through a slat in the stall door,” officials said in the warrant.

The incident continued for about nine minutes while “several men came in and out of the bathroom,” the warrant said. The suspect hid his private parts when different people came into the bathroom, the warrant said.

The suspect finally left after a worker came in and got the suspect — allowing the boy to leave the stall, according to the warrant.

Police said in the warrant they had video of the suspect entering the bathroom just before the boy and exiting about nine minutes later. The warrant also said the suspect was seen on video “zipping up his pants after leaving the restroom” and police made a comment about the suspect’s private parts visible under his clothing.

After an investigation, Frank was arrested on Friday and is being held in the Cumberland County Jail on a $100,000 secured bond. Logan’s Roadhouse said Monday that Frank was no longer working for the company.

Frank appeared in court Monday where a judge kept his bond at the same amount and ordered him to not contact the victim and stay 1,000 feet from the victim.

Logan’s Roadhouse released the following statement on Monday:

“The safety of our guests and team members is of utmost importance to us. We were appalled to learn about the actions of this employee, and we can confirm that he no longer works for our franchise location. We are cooperating fully with the Fayetteville Police Department on this matter.”
