The Heritage Festival will be from July 4, 2024 to July 6, 2024 and will offer fun activities, such as kid’s games, live music, a carnival, food vendors, and much more! A beautiful fireworks display will conclude the last night of the Festival.
Zenda Vance, the Commissioner of the Heritage Festival shared how this event is special to the community.
“I think Independence Day is just something that everybody looks forward to, and it’s just something that we can all celebrate for our freedom, and everyone just looks forward to it, and they all come out for it. we always have a big crowd for our festival,” said Vance.

2:30 P.M.: Old Fashioned Cake Walk and Youth Cookie Walk
3:30 P.M.: Hula Hoop Contest
4:00 P.M.: Balloon Toss
5:00 P.M.: The Best Small-Town 4th of July Parade – Maple Avenue Downtown
6:00 P.M.: Sack Race
6:30 P.M.: Frog Jumping Contest

The Heritage Festival is free to the public and welcomes all to attend. Free shuttle services will be available on July 6, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. The shuttle stops at Fayetteville PK8 School, the Memorial Building, Board of Education lots, and Charlie McCoy Town Park.
