JUNEAU – The Dodge County Sheriff's Office and surrounding agencies are searching for a Clyman woman with the hopes of finding her alive and bringing her back to her family.

Crystal Rasch, 37, was last seen on or around June 11 wearing a black Wisconsin Dells sweatshirt, and was reported missing June 23.

The department has restricted the search to law enforcement-sanctioned searches only and are not seeking volunteers.

Sheriff Dale Schmidt said in a press conference June 27 Rasch's family appreciates the community support, but is asking for privacy.

The sheriff's office released limited details as a result of the active investigation. Here's what we know so far.

What has been done so far?

According to Schmidt, the entire sheriff's office has been following leads since Rasch was reported missing, has searched locations she is known to have frequented, and continues to search public and private locations.

"This is a very exhaustive search," he said. "Our staff has been called in on overtime. Many of us have worked well into the night overnight and put in really long hours trying to figure out where Crystal went."

Law enforcement agencies in and around Dodge County are assisting, and the sheriff's office has opened an Emergency Operations Center to coordinate resources. Detectives have also been interviewing Rasch's family and friends.

Forensic resources are going toward researching electronic devices in the hopes of finding her location, and law enforcement is monitoring social media.

What happens next for the search?

As new information comes in, Schmidt says law enforcement will continue the search, taking precautions to maintain the proper chain of evidence.

The sheriff's office will also continue to coordinate with other agencies, interview people who may have information, and analyze electronic devices and online presence.

"As you know, our electronic devices, these things that we carry around with us contain a lot of data and we're looking through all of that and in hopes of getting some positive leads," Schmidt said. "We've had a lot of leads and we continue to follow those."

He said the sheriff's office doesn't know how the investigation will conclude.

    How can the community help?

If anyone sees the search teams, Schmidt is asking that the public allow them to do their work without interruption.

Anyone with information can contact the tip line at 920-386-4590 or sotipline@co.dodge.wi.us . If no one answers the phone, Schmidt asks callers still leave a message so tip-takers can pass along information as soon as possible.

The sheriff's office also has an app available on the Apple and Google Play stores.
