P&Z approves preliminary plans for Fenton villas, townhomes
The Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Commission has given the OK to plans for a new housing development in the Fenton area. The development, called Hillcrest, at 801 Romaine Creek Road near Hwy. 141, would include 40 housing units with duplexes, triplexes and one quadplex on nearly 9 acres of land.

The Cedar Hill Improvement Partnership (CHIP) is one step closer to saving the Cedar Hill Mill, erected in 1847. Members from CHIP petitioned the Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Commission to rezone the mill, 8460 Wolf Road, from single-family residential to a planned mixed zone. The petition also included a development plan for parking on the property.

ST. LOUIS — Thousands of people gathered in downtown St. Louis Sunday for a Pride parade. The Grand Pride Parade stepped off at noon, heading westbound on Market Street. The parade was delayed after protesters entered the parade route with a message supporting Palestine and denouncing genocide. About a dozen protesters sat on Market Street.
