Kitten rescued from storm drain by Seminole County firefighters
LAKE MARY, Florida — A four-month-old kitten was rescued from a storm drain by Seminole County Animal Services and the Seminole County Fire Department. The kitten, now named Dave after Firefighter/Paramedic Dave Gomez who led the rescue, had become trapped in a storm drain in Lake Mary. After repeated attempts to capture the kitten using traps, firefighters entered the drain themselves to lure the kitten out, according to Seminole County Animal Services.
