Lake County deputies arrest man with stolen motorcycle and methamphetamine
CLERMONT, Florida — Lake County deputies arrested a man on July 16, 2024, after discovering he was in possession of a stolen motorcycle and methamphetamine. Deputies conducted surveillance on a Clermont residence known for narcotic activity and where multiple subjects with active warrants were believed to be present, according to a press release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office. Deputies observed a male matching the description of one of the subjects with a warrant leaving the property on a motorcycle. A deputy initiated a traffic stop and identified the man as Richard French, who did not have a motorcycle endorsement or a valid driver's license.
