Man arrested after Rankin County K-9 finds 44 lbs. of meth in vehicle
RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. — A Texas man is facing drug charges in Rankin County after a traffic stop. A deputy with the Rankin County Criminal Interdiction unit stopped a Ford truck at about 6 p.m. Monday on Interstate 20. Sheriff Bryan Bailey said a traffic violation led the deputy to pull the truck over.

Dallas police continue investigation into 2012 murder of Samuel Nanaeto
DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Police Department continues to investigate the 2012 murder of 22-year-old Samuel Nanaeto. On September 23, 2012, Nanaeto and an unknown suspect were involved in a fight at a business in the 8500 block of Stemmons Freeway. The investigation determined Nanaeto left the scene and was involved in another fight in the 8800 block of N. Stemmons Freeway, where he was found shot to death. Further investigation revealed a four-door white vehicle, possibly a Chevy Avalanche, driven by a Latin male, was seen at the second location and was possibly involved, according to the Dallas Police Department.
