First season for Southlake Community Market in Union Hall off to strong start
On May 23rd, Southlake Community Market opened in the Union Hall area of Franklin County, which organizers say is the first of its kind for the community. Southlake Community Market is located on a corner lot along Old Franklin Turnpike across from the Whistle Stop convenience store. Lori Dupier, one of the market organizers, said traffic has been steady early on with about 12-15 vendors set up each week. “We have a roster of about 30 vendors,” said Dupier. “It’s a lot of variety from week to week.”
