Resurfacing project in West Michigan to start after holiday weekend
OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – The Ottawa County Road Commission will begin work on a resurfacing project after the Fourth of July holiday weekend that might cause some minor delays for drivers. Work in Grand Haven Township is expected to begin the week of July 8, the road commission announced.

Ottawa County’s high-speed internet project gets slimmed down
OTTAWA COUNTY, MI -- A plan to bring high-speed broadband internet to up to 10,000 Ottawa County households has been slimmed down because of a reduced state grant. Stand Up for the Cure began as a national event in a few different waterfront communities. The pandemic was a terribly hard time on more than just the population, charity events took a great deal of loss and with that, a lot went under. It was the resilience of Muskegon and those how know that our community is better than anywhere else to keep essential events running. We can make stone soup better than any other community in the country. Our needs are met by those who have lived the experience and understand that it in helping others that we thrive.
