Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning. At approximately 2:10 a.m., officers responded to the 6500 block of North Point Road for a shooting. At the scene, officers located an adult female who had sustained a gunshot wound, she was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
