    Fire threatens homes and burns field in Finley

    FINLEY, Wash - A fire near Schuster road in Finley threatened several homes.

    The fire burned about two acres of land. One shed was damaged by the fire.

    Benton County Fire responded to the call at about 11:30 a.m. July 1.

    The fire started from a welder being used in the area, said Jenna Kochenauer with Benton County Fire District #1.
