Flag Pond woman and son charged in theft of coins worth 80K
A Flag Pond woman and her adult son have been charged with stealing more than $80,000 worth of precious metal from a couple that she was hired to help as a caretaker. According to a release issued by Chief Deputy Frank Rogers with the Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office, Angela M. Leslie, 44, 1479 Rice Creek Road, Flag Pond, was arrested on Sunday, July 14, during an undercover sting operation conducted by Unicoi County deputies.
