PPD: Oil Springs woman left children alone for two days
On July 21, the Paintsville Police Department responded to a complaint that two children had been left home alone for two days and were seen playing on the roof of an apartment building on Washington Avenue, leading to their mother’s arrest on criminal abuse charges, according to court documents.
Tomahawk woman arrested after alleged stabbing
TOMAHAWK — Kentucky State Police responded to a reported stabbing at approximately 1:47 p.m. Sunday in Tomahawk. The incident allegedly occurred at a residence on Ford Place, but the victim left the scene and went to Milo Subdivision. Upon arriving at Milo Subdivision, officers discovered Jason Jude, 40, who alleged that Tracy Vanover, 52, stabbed him in the arm.
