Connecticut, Uconn Women's Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma's newest restaurant, "Cafe Aura" is open for business in Manchester! The restaurant is located at 45 East Center Street in Manchester, Connecticut. The upscale ''Cafe Aura'' focuses on fine dining along with a capacious bar that includes; world class wines, flavorful prime steaks, and the comforting, classic Italian dishes you grew up with, but with a beautiful, modern twist.

A few highlights from the extensive ''Cafe Aura'' menu are; Antipasto Italiano For Two, Meatballs Arminio, Arancini Siciliani, Burrata E Prosciutto, Lobster Ravioli, Lasagne, Gnocchi Gamberi, Chicken Parmesan, Filet Mignon, New York Strip and Atlantc Salmon just to name a few. The restaurant originally had it's grand opening in December, 2019 but had to abruptly shutdown due to the pandemic. The steakhouse was able to reopen the following year. It's been back to being the welcoming, thriving restaurant it's always been for it's many loyal patrons.

Luigi ''Geno'' Auriemma is from the town of Montella in the province of Avellino, in Southern Italy. He is a celebrated basketball coach who is currently the Head Coach of the UConn Huskies Women's Basketball Team. ''Since becoming head coach in 1985, he has led UConn to 17 undefeated conference seasons (including eight consecutive), of which six were undefeated overall seasons, with 11 NCAA Division I National Championships, the most in women's college basketball history, and has won eight national Naismith College Coach of the Year awards,'' according to Wikipedia.
