West Hartford Chef Appearing on New Episode of "Alex vs. America" on the Food Network

West Hartford Chef Adam Greenberg of Sparrow Pizza Bar, who is the FOUR TIME "Chopped" champ is returning to television! On Sunday, August 4, 2024 he will be back on the Food Network, appearing on Chef Alex Guarnaschelli's show ''Alex vs. America''. Can Chef Adam Greenberg take down Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli? She is considered to be 'the most feared and accomplished competition cook' in our country.

The show features themed style competitions as Chef Guarnaschelli goes up against chefs from all over the United States. ''The Iron Chef faces three chefs in two rounds of cooking, and any one of the three, even Guarnaschelli, can be sent home after a blind tasting by the judges. Greenberg and two other "lobster specialists" from around the Northeast will face off against her in the Aug. 4 episode, airing on Food Network, with the chance to win a $10,000 prize,'' as stated on the official Greenwich Time website.

Chef Adam Greenberg, who is known now by millions of fans, has also been a competitor and a judge on "Beat Bobby Flay" and also battled most recently on "Guy's Grocery Games". After moving back to his home state of Connecicut, Chef Greenberg has partnered on 'Sparrow Pizza Bar' in West Hartford, Connecticut, the very town the chef grew up in.
