After a needed remodel, the Norwich Arts Center’s gallery is ready for all to see. The NAC, at 62 Broadway, will have two celebrations for the re-opening on July 5. A Griswold man has been charged in an October 2023 fatal motor vehicle accident in Pomfret. On the night of Oct. 9, 2023, Connecticut State Police found Ian Gillis’ car at the bottom of a gulley in the area of Pomfret Street in Pomfret. Gillis, the operator of the vehicle, suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported via Life Flight to UMass Memorial Medical Center.
