A Florida woman accused of killing her boyfriend by trapping him in a suitcase during a game of hide-and-seek must now represent herself at her murder trial after going through eight public defenders, a judge ruled last week.

Sarah Boone hasn’t been to get along with a single court-appointed lawyer since she was arrested in 2020 for allegedly killing her partner Jorge Torrez Jr.

“The best possible avenue is to have the Defendant represent herself as no attorney can satisfy her,” Judge Michael Kraynick wrote in court papers obtained by Fox 35.

“Although Defendant’s words seemingly reveal a desire to go to trial … her actions and inability to work with court appointed counsel, are repeated over and over,” he also wrote on June 28.

During a status conference last month, Boone whined that she wasn’t happy with her latest legal rep, claiming the lawyer lied to her and had a “snotty attitude,” according to Fox 35.

“I feel she is untruthful with me and full-blown prejudiced against me, which I believe adds to her nasty attitude towards me, and I do not trust her,” Boone reportedly claimed.

“Everyone constantly, constantly, constantly blames me, that I am the reason why I am supposedly going on attorney number eight, which I am not the reason for any of them.”

The lawyer said Boone refused to cooperate during conferences between lawyer and client.

The slew of lawyers that have tried to assist her have all withdrawn for various reason, including irreconcilable differences, Fox 35 reported.

In a 58-page bizarre missive to the judge obtained by the station, Boone issued more than 30 concerns to the judge and lawyer over evidence and witnesses.

Police arrested Boone, then 42, in February 2020 after investigators found footage from Boone’s cell phone of her allegedly mocking Torrez as he was trapped in the suitcase.

At one point, Torrez shouted out he can’t breathe as she allegedly teased him.

“That’s on you. Oh, that’s what I feel like when you cheat on me,” Boone said, according to court documents.

A judge ruled Boone needs to rep herself in court now.

Boone claimed to police she forgot her boyfriend was in the suitcase and fell asleep for hours before she woke up and realized Torrez was still stuck inside.

A small cut on Torrez’s lip and bruising around his eye were found by police after he was retrieved from the cargo.

    She’s facing second-degree murder charges.
