A man is facing charges after a tragic incident involving a dog and her puppies over the Christmas holiday.

Richard Andino, 39, was arrested on Monday for practicing veterinary medicine without a license.

The incident began when the owners of a pregnant dog, Channel, brought her to Andino's home for a C-section.

Despite the unusual location, the owners proceeded with the procedure after Andino assured them he was a licensed veterinarian.

Tragically, three of the puppies died shortly after the owners brought them home.

An investigation revealed that Andino had no veterinary license in Florida.

Andino was arrested at his home and faces charges for practicing veterinary medicine without a license.
