A tragically hilarious Florida story - in four parts. Some people think they are built for the life on the water, but in reality, they often aren't. They could have a plethora of cheesy signs throughout their home with various lake-and-ocean-related phrases, and it really doesn't mean anything until it's time to really live life on the water. That's especially true at the boat ramp. For the uninitiated, the boat ramp is where the pros and amateurs are separated. It's all fun and games once you get out on the water, but first, you have to tackle the beast that is a subtly sloped slab of concrete into the water. As simple as the process seems, it can puzzle even the sharpest of mortals. And as I say that, I have to clarify that this real life, red-neck superhero is probably
not the sharpest tool in the shed. You'll see what I mean in the video below, where this guy thought that he could step in as a replacement for the boat trailer's winch as they pulled the vessel out of the water. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just let you watch part one, coming to us from Crystal River, Florida: https://www.instagram.com/p/C9syONzoUrA/ That Florida man really thought he was Superman, didn't he? As you saw, the man-replaces-winch plan didn't work. In fact, it immediately and horrifically failed. If his failed attempt to hold on tight wasn't enough, I think he took a shot to the family jewels when he fell hard down onto the trailer. So then the trio of Florida men got to thinking how they could get the now "beached" boat back into the water, and you could really see the gears turning. They finally figured out a plan of action, which was to use the trailer to violently scrape and push the boat back into the water: https://www.instagram.com/p/C9tR9bLsvu_/ Alright, not pretty, but mission accomplished. The S.S. Florida Man was back in the water. There's honestly not a lot going on during part three of the hilarious story. This portion is really just man versus winch - one that appears to be broken. Either that, or there's a tremendous user error, which
absolutely can't be ruled out: https://www.instagram.com/p/C9vWg-6Bo9M/ Like I said... not a whole lot going on there (in the video and in the Florida man's brain). But sometimes you have to go through a lull to get to a chaotic, exciting finale. Part four is basically a triumphant comeback story, and because the story took so long to play out, there was an audience that had gathered around to cheer for (and give directions to) the struggling boaters: https://www.instagram.com/p/C9vW2Rwh_YT/ There's no way alcohol was involved in any of that, right? I mean, how'd they even drive home? Shoutout to all of the people in the great, wild state of Florida. What would we all do without the endless entertainment provided by the great citizens of the "Sunshine State?" I'll wait here while you try to give me an answer.
