Nevada football's 2024 season unofficially kicked off Wednesday with the Wolf Pack's first fall camp practice, which was split between Wolf Pack Park and Mackay Stadium. First-year head coach Jeff Choate said he felt like Wednesday's practice wasn't that big a departure from the summer, which allows more coach-to-player contact than several years ago. But the pedal is hitting metal as Nevada has just 30 days to prepare for its season opener Aug. 24 against SMU, a potential preseason Top 25 team.

Long Snapper Cian Stack Accepts All-American Bowl Invitation
Long snapper Cian Stack (Reno, NV/ Bishop Manogue Catholic High School) has officially accepted his invitation to the 2025 All-American Bowl. Having been selected to play in the twenty fifth edition of the All-American Bowl, Stack will play in the annual East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET, and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players.
