    Hartfield Academy DL Reginald Vaughn commits to Arkansas football

    Hartfield Academy defensive lineman Reginald Vaughn has committed to Arkansas football he announced on Saturday.

    Vaughn, a four-star recruit according to 247Sports Composite, chose Arkansas over Mississippi State, Ole Miss and LSU who were in his top-four list.

    The 6-foot-2, 260-pound lineman is the No. 14 overall recruit in Mississippi and the No. 44 defensive lineman in the Class of 2025.

    "I am really excited for Reggie and his decision to go to Arkansas," Hartfield coach Craig Bowman told the Clarion Ledger. "I think it is a perfect fit for him. I know he is at peace with his decision and can now completely focus on his senior season at Hartfield."

    Vaughn joins his Hartfield Academy teammate London Simmons in the SEC. Simmons committed to Alabama in June.

    Last season, Vaughn helped Hartfield Academy to its first MAIS Class 6A state title in 2023 and finished with a 14-0 record while recording 80 total tackles and 10 sacks.
