Classic rockers’ show at Allentown Fair postponed after diagnosis
Heart lead singer Ann Wilson on Tuesday announced a cancer diagnosis and says her recovery will prevent her from performing this year. The classic rock band’s headlining stop set for next month at the Great Allentown Fair is now postponed, according to the websites for the act and the fair.
Allentown man accused of breaking into police parking lot, stealing key to undercover cop car
ALLENTOWN, Pa. — An Allentown man is facing felony charges after police allege he tried to steal a police officer’s off-duty vehicle from a secure lot last month. Leonel Bonilla-Arita, 42, was charged with criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking, as well as misdemeanor counts of theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property, according to court documents.

As a heat wave burned through the Lehigh Valley in late June, Sizzling Bites Halal Grill continued firing up the eclectic restaurant scene in Southside Bethlehem. “My favorite thing is talking with the people – how they like the food, how was their experience,” owner Abdul Wali, a 2023 graduate of Liberty HS, said on a Saturday afternoon in June at the authentic Halal restaurant.
