McLEAN COUNTY (25News Now) - A man from Crystal Lake is being identified as the victim of a fatal crash Monday night. The McLean County Coroner says Stanley M. FORT ATKINSON, Wis. - Fort Atkinson police are asking for the public's help to identify a car and its driver. This after a report of a man dragging a female into the vehicle. Officials say around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, officers responded to Soup's On Bar on Whitewater Avenue in Fort Atkinson for a report of a male subject dragging a female into a black sedan. That vehicle was possibly a Pontiac Firebird with a T-top. Investigators say the vehicle left at a high rate of speed traveling southbound on Highway 12 out of the city.

Beloit police officer cleared in shooting death of stabbing suspect
BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) - The Beloit police officer who shot a South Beloit man is cleared of any wrongdoing, the Rock County District Attorney announced July 2. Officer Cole Gille was found to have acted lawfully in the May 16 incident and that his use of force was legal and appropriate. The District Attorney also said Gregory Tracy, 54, of South Beloit was shot, and died, as a direct result of his own actions.

BELOIT, Wis. — Cole Gille, a Beloit police officer, has been cleared of any wrongdoing in an incident that occurred on May 16. According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), at 3:26 p.m. on May 16, officers with the Beloit Police Department responded to a 911 call about a stabbing in the 2000 block of Frederick Street in the City of Beloit.
