Janji Reimagines the Merrell Agility Peak 5 Trail Running Shoe

Playa Society Has Dominated the WNBA Apparel Landscape. Could Footwear Be Next?

One of Merrell’s most sought after trail running shoes just got an update from Janji.

The Wolverine Worldwide-owned brand has teamed up with Janji, an independent running apparel brand, to reimagine the Agility Peak 5. The limited-edition collaboration retails for $150 and is available now via Merrell.com , Janji.com , and REI.com .

The trail running shoe — which is rugged and technical and made for long distances — features Vibram Megagrip outsoles underfoot, as well as Merrell’s FlexConnect dual-directional flex-grooves in the midsole for enhanced ground connection and lightweight FloatPro Foam midsoles.

Aside from the new-look Agility Peak 5, Merrell and Janji collaborated on a collection of trail run apparel replete with the apparel brand’s popular running essentials, including the AFO Hyperlight Cap ( $38 ), the Run All Day Tank ( $58 ) and Tee ( $62 ), the AFO Middle Shorts ( $70 ) and the Multipass Mini Pack ( $45 ).

In other recent Merrell news, the brand revealed a collection inspired by the hit HBO series “House of the Dragon” in July, which features new versions of the Agility Peak 5, the Moab Speed 2 and the Moab 3. And in June, Merrell teamed up with golf brand Greyson Clothiers on a new-look Agility Peak 5 Zero Gore-Tex trail running shoe.
