WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican Donald Trump leads Democratic U.S. President Joe Biden in Pennsylvania, but trails in Virginia, according to a New York Times/Sienna College poll of registered voters conducted in those states on July 9 to 11 and published on Monday.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham said she was overcome with grief upon learning that former President Donald Trump had been shot. A would-be assassin shot Trump in the ear at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. One rally-goer was killed and two others were wounded. The shooter was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed by the Secret Service. He was a registered Republican who once gave $15 to a Democratic fundraising platform. His motive remains unclear at this point.
New Kensington police accuse man of assaulting 2 women
A New Kensington man is facing felony aggravated assault charges after police say he hit one woman with a flashlight and put a knife to the neck of another. City police filed charges Sunday against Samuel Nathan Brown, 54. Officers responded to the incident in the 500 block of Fourth Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
