NJCU & Essex Community College presidents sign express transfer program MOU
The presidents from New Jersey City University (NJCU) and Essex Community College signed an express transfer program memorandum of understanding (MOU) yesterday. Under the terms of the articulation agreement, which is effective September 1st, 2024 for a period of at least five years, Essex County College students in good academic standing who have earned an Associate of Arts or Science degree at Essex, will be granted joint admission into NJCU with junior academic status, in the same or similar academic program.

Enrollment Holding Steady for Chatham Schools; Tomaino Resigns as Chatham High Security Coordinator After 11 Years
CHATHAM, NJ -- Chatham's enrollment is holding steady at 3,525 students heading into the upcoming 2024-2025 school year as reported by Mary Donohue, assistant superintendent, at the July 15 regular meeting of the Chatham Board of Education. Donohue also reported in the video below that there are currently 219 students registered for kindergarten when the district opens school on Aug 26.
