Alcohol ban for the Truckee River takes effect
RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A ban on alcohol along the Truckee River has taken effect. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says the ban took effect on Monday and will last until Saturday. It will span from the outflow of Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City upstream to the Alpine Meadows Bridge.
