‘Hamilton’ musical returning to Syracuse: Don’t throw away your shot
Don’t throw away your shot to see one of the biggest musicals of the 21st century. “Hamilton” is returning to Syracuse in fall 2025 as an add-on to the M&T Bank Broadway in Syracuse’s 2025-2026 season, Famous Artists announced Tuesday. The Tony-winning smash will be staged at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse.

Water Safari Resort in Old Forge is still hiring for the 2024 summer season and will continue to hire throughout the summer at the Enchanted Forest Water Safari, Calypso’s Cove, Old Forge Camping Resort, and Water's Edge Inn. Positions are available across many departments with wider focus areas being Water Ride Operators, Lifeguards, Food Service, Admissions/Ticket Takers and Park Photographers. Additional specialty positions are available such as Flower/Garden Attendant, EMTs, Security Guards and more.
Rangers respond to Lowville flooding, lost/injured hikers; recover body of overturned Hudson River kayaker
Wilderness Rescue: On July 9, at 6 p.m., Forest Ranger Milano responded to a call for a 14-year-old hiker from Massachusetts suffering from heat exhaustion at OK Slip Falls. The subject’s group leader attempted to cool him down, but he was still hot and having an anxiety attack. Ranger Milano worked with Indian Lake Fire Department to treat the subject, calm and cool him down, and then walked him out to an awaiting ambulance. Resources were clear at 9 p.m.
