A big name in movies has announced that they are closing 24,000 locations including 300 in New York and 15+ in the Hudson Valley. Meteorology professor discusses tornadoes in Western New York
Four tornadoes — two in Erie County, one in Chautauqua County and one in Genesee County — touched down in Western New York, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo. The strongest of those, an EF-2 that touched down in the Town of Eden, reached wind speeds of up to 115 mph and caused the “total destruction” of “multiple” buildings. State Police says that they are continuing to investigate a fatal three-way crash that claimed the life of a Hudson Valley man Thursday.
