Seahawks pick for Seattle's most underrated player might surprise you
In 2023, the Seattle Seahawks offensive line ranked 31st in pass protection and a solid 15th in run blocking, according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required). The issue was that former offensive coordinator Shane Waldron wanted to force the pass so much and his O-line was so bad in that respect, that the offensive efficiency was hurt. 2024 should be different for a few reasons.
The Seahawks look to declare independence from the 49ers in 2024
On this day 248 years ago, our great nation was conceived in liberty and declared independence from Great Britain. A scrappy group of patriotic underdogs fought back against one of the world’s dominant powers at the time and won freedom. In 2024, the Seattle Seahawks will look to do the same against their greatest foe – the San Francisco 49ers. Overall, historically speaking, the Seahawks outright own the 49ers. The all time series record is 30-22 in favor of Seattle. The Seahawks also own the longest win streak in the rivalry, having won 10-straight starting in the 2013 postseason until December of...
Mariners Scouting Director gives insight to what the team will do in upcoming draft
While the Mariners seem to struggle at times with trading for veteran bats, they have been the opposite when it comes to player development. Sure, the prospects have not made it yet and there is always a chance some of these guys will not make it to the Big Leagues, but the Mariners are building a bank of prospects that could turn into trade pieces or homegrown talent.
Megan Rapinoe silent on trans rights during Pride
Former United States Women’s Soccer Team midfielder Megan Rapinoe is typically an ardent defender of transgender women participating in women’s sports. That is, apparently, unless she’s being questioned by a reporter from the right-wing Post Millennial. Post Millennial reporter Katie Davis questioned Rapinoe during a Pride parade...

The Seattle metropolitan area is currently experiencing an all-time high...

Walk-n-Talk along the Historic Indian Trail this Sunday, July 7
One of Burien’s outdoor gems is the “Indian Trail.”. If you haven’t discovered the Trail yet, this is your chance! This wandering, varied Trail winds high above the shoreline strip of SW 172nd St. – the “Sunrise Trail” – and then, from Three Tree Point northward, parallels Maplewild Ave. SW – the “Sunset Trail”. It is said to be a remnant of a Trail used long ago by the local Native American tribes in the region as they traveled from the south end of Puget Sound – the Salish Sea – to the north, thus its name of the “Indian Trail”. Some portions of the Trail are heavily-wooded and lush green (shaded!). Other areas are wide open to the sky (hot and sunny). There are three public beach access points along the way.
