Woman Charged With Fleeing From Law Enforcement
A woman was charged with fleeing from law enforcement with a child in the vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday night. Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Izabel-Maribel Ical-Coy for speeding. She stopped and then continued before coming to a final stop on Walnut Street.
Two-vehicle wreck on Liberty Street results in possible injuries
A two-vehicle wreck at the intersection East 7th and Liberty Streets resulted in possible injuries on Friday. According to a report from Hopkinsville Police, Tara Randolph of Elkton was driving west on East 7th Street approaching the Liberty Street intersection. Randolph reportedly told first responders that she thought the intersection was a four-way stop when it is actually a two-way stop with stop signs on East 7th Street.

Brice Long’s Back-2-Back Foundation celebrated its 20-year anniversary at their annual benefit concert which raised $107,750 to help local families. The foundation held its annual fundraising concert Saturday at the Alhambra Theater. The concert was headlined by country music band McBride & The Ride, and featured an opening by Long performing an acoustic set of his hit songs. The Alhambra was packed, and Long described it as “a phenomenal night of music.”
