Last year's game was too good not to repeat.
After the riveting meeting between the rivals at Moby Arena last November, Colorado and Colorado State officially will meet on the hardwood once again after Tad Boyle's Buffaloes unveiled their full nonconference schedule on Monday.
CU and CSU will face off Saturday, Dec. 7, at the CU Events Center in Boulder.
The Rams took the most recent meeting in front of a sold-out crowd in Fort Collins by a final of 88-83 thanks to 20 points and 11 assists from Isaiah Stevens. KJ Simpson led all scorers with 30 points.
The Buffs lead the all-time series 92-41 and won the most recent game in Boulder in blowout fashion, but the two programs have split the last 12 meetings.
The other highlight of the nonconference schedule had already been announced as Boyle and his team will head to the Maui Invitational.

CU's three opponents have yet to be announced. The other teams in attendance will be Auburn, Dayton, Iowa State, Memphis, Michigan State, North Carolina and back-to-back national champion UConn.
All nonconference games not at the Maui Invite will be in Boulder.
The season opener is Monday, Nov. 4, against Eastern Washington. After that, the Buffs will host Northern Colorado, Cal State Fullerton and Harvard before heading to Maui.
The final nonconference opponents before Big 12 play are Pacific, CSU, South Dakota State and Bellarmine.
